Matthew 18 vs 18-19 Prayer Points For Exercising God-Given Authority

In Matthew 18:18-19, we are reminded of the authority given to us in Christ and the power of agreement in prayer. This passage encourages us to boldly exercise our God-given authority and to unite in prayer for His will to be done.

  1. Prayer for Exercising God-Given Authority: Heavenly Father, help me to wisely and faithfully use the authority You have bestowed upon me in Christ, especially in spiritual warfare.
  2. Prayer for Unity in the Body of Christ: Lord Jesus, I pray for unity within Your body, the Church. May we come together in agreement, upholding each other in prayer and faith.
  3. Prayer for Binding and Loosing in Spiritual Realms: Almighty God, grant me the discernment to know what to bind and what to loose in the spiritual realms, aligning my prayers with Your divine will.
  4. Prayer for the Fulfillment of God’s Will: God, I pray for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. May my prayers align with Your purposes and bring about Your plans.
  5. Prayer for Mutual Support and Agreement in Prayer: Lord, I seek the support of fellow believers in prayer. Let us come together, agreeing in prayer for each other’s needs and for Your kingdom to advance.

As I commit myself to Jesus, I am empowered by the authority He has given and the power of agreement in prayer. These tools are vital in spiritual warfare, enabling us to stand firm in faith and to see God’s will accomplished in our lives. With a heart devoted to His teachings, I am strengthened to face any challenge. Reflecting on Matthew 18:18-19, “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven,” I am reassured of the impact of united prayer and the authority vested in us by Christ. Amen.
